Remediation Projects

Client: New Jersey Department Of Transportation
Location: New Jersey Maintenance Yards

Awarded three consistent solid waste clean up contracts. Contracts consisted of site clearing and demolition, excavation, screening of excavated material, separating material, loading, transportation, recycling, and grading. Materials recycled consisted of concrete, asphalt, stone, scrap metal, municipal trash, 55-gallon drums, wood, contaminated wood, petroleum contaminated soil, and street sweepings. Worked directly with the NJ DOT to accomplish the state recycling goal. Recycled approximately 106,500 tons of material generated in the State of New Jersey

As of July 2004, EnviroCraft was awarded three regional solid waste clean-up contracts for an additional consecutive 3-year period.

Location: DeRewel Chemical Company, Frenchtown, NJ

Superfund project to include asbestos and lead abatement, demolition of two structures, waste classification, site supervision, transportation and recycling of 54,500 tons of non-hazardous metals contaminated soil and 1,000 tons of lead contaminated hazardous soil. Assisted Prime Contractor to complete project over three months ahead of schedule.

Location: Pepe Field, Boonton, NJ

Superfund project including transportation and recycling of 55,000 tons of non-hazardous stabilized soil, disposition of 160 tons of hazardous soil, 220 tons of construction debris material, and on-site project supervision.

Client: Department of the Navy
Location: Naval Air Engineering Station, Lakehurst, NJ

As the general contractor, a turnkey project was performed consisting of the cutting and capping of utilities, asbestos and lead abatement, demolition, backfilling, grading, and site restoration of a two story 3000 square foot building in Lakehurst Naval Station. Complied with all contractual obligations to include safety meetings, progress meetings, submittals and reports, and all employee training.

Location: NJ Economic Development Authority, Camden Amphitheater, Camden, New Jersey

Transportation and disposal of approximately 8,000 tons of non-hazardous soil and 3,000 tons of hazardous soil including sampling plan, analytical, and site monitoring work.

Client: Cooperıs Ferry Development Corporation
Location: Campbellıs Stadium, Riverfront, Camden, NJ

Provided transportation and recycling of approximately 22,000 tons of screened historic fill from this site development project along the Camden waterfront. EnviroCraft provided project management of these disposition services, coordinating the efforts of several contractors to perform the excavation, screening, transportation and recycling of the material to match the soil screening rate which varied from 200 to 1500 tons of materials each day depending on actual site conditions.

Location: Former Rice & Holman Dealership, Merchantville, NJ

On-site remedial construction services to excavate, transport, and recycle 3,129 tons of non-hazardous petroleum and PCB contaminated soil, Transportation and Disposal of 2,103 gallons of non-hazardous water from excavation areas, removal of a 17 foot deep sump pit, removal and closure of 1 underground storage tanks and 6 hydraulic lift cylinders. A new Eckerd drug store and 10 new town homes have been constructed on the site.

Location: Bruin, Pennsylvania

Remediation clean-up of petroleum contamination. Site preparation included improving access road with gravel, installation of decontamination pad, stabilization of 400 tons of wet soil from shallow basin, and excavation, analytical, transportation and disposal of waste water and drummed solid waste.

Client: Glendale Excavation, Cherry Hill Library Extension
Location: Cherry Hill, NJ

Transportation and recycling of 10,000 tons of pesticide contaminated soil from a former orchard. EnviroCraft transported over 1,000 tons of soil per day completing the project ahead of schedule. The new Cherry Hill Library is being constructed on site.

Client: Long Owns, LLC, Volvo Dealership
Location: Edison, NJ

Transportation and disposition of 7,000 tons of petroleum contaminated soil were a new car dealership was constructed on site. Material was recycled and reused as road base.

Client: PPG Industries, Inc., Pulverizing Services Superfund Site
Location: Moorestown, NJ

Transportation and recycling of approximately 78,000 tons of non-hazardous pesticides contaminated soil, disposition of 2,700 tons of hazardous soil,570,000 gallons of water and 550 tons of construction debris. EnviroCraft provided project management of these disposition services for three years, coordinating with the prime and other contractors in order to remove 200 to 1,000 tons of materials per day, meeting project schedule.

Underground Storage Tank Services

Client: New Jersey Department of Transportation
Location: New Jersey Maintenance Yards

As the general contractor, EnviroCraft performed a turnkey project consisting of the removal of fuel systems and dry wells at DOT Maintenance Yards statewide. The project included excavation, tank cleaning, waste classification, transportation and recycling/disposal of non-hazardous bulk waste, transportation and disposal of drum wastes, backfilling and compacting, site restoration, install/maintain/close monitoring wells, obtaining all permits, application of closure approval, write and submit site and remedial investigation reports to the NJ DEP, site supervision, and constant project management.

Client: The Home Depot
Location: New Rochelle, New York

Removal of 27 underground storage tanks and six above ground storage tanks, remediation and restoration, transportation and disposal of 500 tons of hazardous soil and approximately 4,000 tons of petroleum contaminated soil, hazardous sludge, pit clean out and drums containing tank bottoms and sludge.

Client: The County Of Burlington
Location: Various Locations, Burlington County

Complete removal and closure of 13 UST's ranging in size from 275 gallons to 10,000 gallons and the complete installation of two 5,000 gallon UST systems and two 2,000 gallon AST systems. Turnkey project ranging from permit application to as built submission.

Client: The County of Gloucester
Location: Various Locations, Gloucester County, NJ

Complete removal and closure of seven UST systems include site restoration, transportation and disposal of contaminated soil and liquids, and the complete installation of a 2,000-gallon above ground fuel oil storage tank.

Client: URS, Inc.
Location: Former Jersey City Exxon Station, Jersey City, NJ

Provided turnkey remedial construction of this former Exxon service station requiring the dewatering and disposal of 81,000 gallons of perched groundwater, removal and closure of six (6) underground storage tanks, excavation of on-site soils down to bedrock, screening, transportation and recycling of 5,686 tons of petroleum contaminated soil and debris, sampling and analytical testing required for closure, backfill of the site, preparation of the closure report and other related services necessary for the successful remediation of the site. The new Jersey City combined fire station is now being constructed on the site and is expected to be complete by January 2002.

Hazardous and Non-Hazardous Soil

Client:
Dismantlement Consultants, Inc.
Location: Defense Supply Center, Philadelphia, PA

Performed in-situ waste characterization sampling and analysis, transportation and recycling of approximately 8,355 tons of PAH contaminated soil, ash, cinder and slag from this now closed World War I era Defense Department supply depot. In addition, EC provided transportation, treatment and disposal of approximately 198 tons of lead hazardous soil discovered during the removal of other waste materials. EC utilized XRF field instrument technology to speed the closure of this hazardous waste site saving all parties valuable time and money.

Client: Horne Engineering Services
Location: FAA Technical Center, Pomona, NJ

Transportation and disposal of approximately 8,000 tons of PCB contaminated soil, and recycling of approximately 1,600 tons of petroleum contaminated soil and 550,000 gallons of pretreated groundwater from this former fire fighting training facility, which was placed on the Superfund Site Federal Facilityıs list. A majority of the soil was disposed in a RCRA Subtitle C or TSCA approved facility.

Location: McGuire AFB, Wrightown, NJ

Responsible for overall project safety and site monitoring via Certified Industrial Hygienist and Health and Safety Officer. Performed all onsite air and soil monitoring, sampling, analysis and waste classification, transportation and recycling of non-hazardous petroleum contaminated soil and non-hazardous petroleum contaminated liquids.

Location: Andela Farm Superfund Site, Warwick Township, PA

Transportation and recycling of approximately 2,673 tons of PCB contaminated soil from this former farm, which was used as a disposal site for sand blast grit tainted with PCBs.
